Project Overview
CrowdZest represents an ambitious endeavor in the social platform domain, aiming to revolutionize volunteer-based projects with AI integration. Citronity's journey with CrowdZest was marked by a series of pivotal stages, from idea validation to the development of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). Grounded in comprehensive market research, our team employed advanced UX strategies to shape an intuitive user experience. Adopting an agile methodology, we swiftly transitioned from concept to a scalable MVP, harnessing our suite of ready-to-use digital assets to accelerate market entry and set the stage for CrowdZest’s future growth.
Brand Design and Color Selection
The logo of CrowdZest was inspired by the concepts of community, joy, and the natural order of Fibonacci's sequence, reflecting the platform’s humanitarian and environmental ethos. The primary color, Irish green, symbolizes vitality and renewal, complemented by vibrant secondary colors, bright orange, and fuchsia rose, to create an energetic and engaging brand palette.
Story mapping and Flow chart
Our initial phase involved extensive research, competitor analysis, and stakeholder consultations, leading to collaborative story mapping sessions. Here, our Product Manager, Design Team, and stakeholders converged to finalize the core product features using tools like FigJam for efficient story mapping and flowchart creation. These assets provided a clear roadmap for both design and development teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Wireframing: Laying the Foundations
Wireframes served as the preliminary visual blueprint, offering a skeletal layout of the platform’s functionality. Our design process, incorporating tools like Figma for its collaborative and prototyping capabilities, began with simple pencil sketches and evolved into detailed wireframe pages. This step was crucial in visualizing and refining the MVP’s user interface and user experience.
Dashboard Design: User-Centric Interface
In designing CrowdZest’s UI, we adhered to a minimalist and light theme, informed by the brand’s color palette and target audience preferences. Our focus was on developing a user-friendly dashboard for project management and task tracking, with responsive designs for both desktop and mobile devices. The design emphasized personalized boards for managing individual projects, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
Illustrations: Bringing Characters to Life
Our team of illustrators created unique, minimal-style characters that embodied the spirit of kindness and collaboration central to CrowdZest. These illustrations were strategically placed throughout the platform to enhance user engagement and convey the core values of the product.
Icon Design: Originality and Functionality
We crafted original icons that aligned with CrowdZest’s branding, steering clear of pre-made packages. These icons, characterized by their minimalistic and elegant design, enhanced the functionality and user interface, making the platform more accessible and user-friendly.
