About Project

Citronity partnered with Canada's Premier Digital Health Provider to transform their digital health platform. Our mission was to go beyond the conventional UI/UX design, incorporating innovative digital art and illustrations. Our top-tier team, proficient in the latest design trends like minimalism and material design, created diverse 'hero' characters that captured the essence of Canada's multicultural fabric. These illustrations, crucial in enhancing patient engagement in AI-assisted therapy modules, resulted in an authentic, clinically-approved interface. Over three years, we produced over 500 characters and nearly 5,000 digital images, showcasing our prowess in modern UI/UX practices and digital illustration.

Dashboard Development: A Fusion of Functionality and Aesthetics

The provider envisioned a practical dashboard to connect doctors and patients for digital sessions. Our solution, built from Figma designs and developed using the Angular framework, was crafted to be responsive, catering to diverse user needs. We selected Java for the backend, known for its robustness and reliability, complemented by secure protocols safeguarding data integrity. The Citronity team for this project included: 1. Module Design and Development: Enhancing Therapeutic Engagement

We developed continuous mental health session modules on various topics, integrating therapeutic assistance methods with interactive homework. Our challenge was to create imagery consistent with the text and unique to the brand, using contemporary design principles and user-centered design approaches.

Problem Solving: Intuitive and Efficient UI/UX Solutions

Our UI/UX designers focused on enhancing system performance and user experience. Recognizing the need for efficient communication, we introduced a scheduled message feature, allowing for time-efficient, pre-planned messages from therapists to patients, embracing the latest in UX strategy and digital communication trends.

Character Design: Reflecting Real-World Diversity

Our illustration team created unique characters for each mental illness module, mirroring real-world diversity and aligning with contemporary design ethics and inclusivity principles. Each character was meticulously researched and designed, considering a wide array of ethnicities, interests, and lifestyles.
